Moon Man
Circa 1995
"Always too late and never too soon"
Tells a teary-eyed man on the moon
With his eyes to the skies
Paralyzed by his past
And his heart stuck on start
Turning round very fast
"I did once know my needs from wants,
But so long since my reason taunts"
The old man states and contemplates
His life amongst the fallen fates
"Goodbye to hope and all I dreamed,
Goodbye my life not what you seemed"
A fading voice that once was strong
Pronounces life will not be long
All but free and far from young
The old man's song was never sung
And now he sits in craters gray
With no one near and much to say
His body print in powder deep
In all our hearts that yearn for more
We all could call his moon our own
As all have passed his pain before
It's absurd to think that anything will save the world with so much of humanity cheering on and profiting from its own destruction, but we'll never know for sure unless we keep trying. Improving any one person's life is worth a fight to the finish and I wouldn't know what else to do but die if I stopped anyhow, so here's my final will and testimony for my left and right. I'm going to share as much as possible without worrying about grammer, composition or public opinion and let it ride for the ages. Primary focus will be on long-term outcomes and key strategy to help everyone wake up feeling great about living together on Planet Earth.
Life is foremost for learning to (1) appreciate life and (2) share it with one another. The true measure of one's standing and accomplishments in life is (3) how much you either help or hurt all life and (4) how much you improve over time.
- Hurting
- Hurting has an automatic multiplier since injury and trauma have longer lasting effects than the benefits of helping generally
- Cowardice, selfishness and indifference all count as hurting when the opportunity to reasonably stop someone from hurting is abandoned
- No third party entity can profit from someone's personal injury, loss, suffering or death. We need independent oversight to get rid of all governmental, corporate and private contractor profits driving corruption in politics, the Intelligence Community, the Military-Industrial Complex, law enforcement and mass incarceration
- No one should ever become wealthy as a public servant, by any means, period. The entire idea of serving is to put others before yourself for the greater good
- No politician should be allowed to profit from their elected position either before, during or after. Employment wages should be the U.S. median household income and medical benefits should equal those of average Americans
- All stocks and other assets that could reasonably become conflicts of interest need to be liquidated before taking office
- All personal wealth beyond that of average U.S. citizens must be given to charity throughout service
- No former public servant should ever be able to profit from anything related to their decision making powers while in office (revolving door)
- Insider trading related activities should be dealt with by a single warning and then immediate removal from all public office
- Self-serving decision making that leads to the harm of any citizen must lead to criminal and/or civil liability
- All legislative members must be required to submit extensive evidence for their reasoning when voting on anything. This should include arguments both for and against proposed legislation based on empirical data, full disclosure of any potential conflicts of interest and a rational summary of their decision. This documentation should immediately be available to the public online upon voting. Any voting member who is likely conflicted by significant predisposed bias of any kind cannot be allowed to vote
- Leadership requires that moral personal conduct for public servants must be higher than for the citizens they represent. There has to be immediate public reprimand and personal accountability, and effective professional and legal consequences to reestablish public trust
- The Military-Industrial Complex was created out of necessity during World War II but has since existed to serve and protect itself instead of the American people. Real GDP in the U.S. increased 72% from 1940-1945, industrial productivity and corporate profits doubled, 17 million new jobs were created and wages increased dramatically. We've been manufacturing consent and losing wars ever since to feed the rich and keep uninformed poor people stuffing their faces. Everything we touch goes to shit because everyone knows we're full of it and ultimately just killing by number for mercenary profits. The 2022 U.S. military budget (NDAA) is 770 billion, which is half of the U.S. Government's entire discretionary spending, more than the next 11 largest national military budgets combined and the single largest since World War II. The U.S. military has 800-1,000 bases globally compared to maybe a dozen for Russia and China combined, is a larger polluter than 140 combined countries, has misplaced tens of trillions of dollars of American taxpayer revenue without consequence, has never passed an independent audit and anything less than immediately cutting the budget by at least half is total insanity at this point. The Pentagon is the worst return on investment in human history. We have no idea where and to whom unimaginably huge portions of our hard earned money is going, it's leading the destruction of our planet, it kills whoever and whenever it wants without accountability or the need for tangible long-term benefit of any kind, it did nothing to protect us at Pearl Harbor or on 9/11, and we have less than zero control over anything it does due to normalized misinformation and weapons industry media propaganda.80-90% of the 2.3 trillion wasted pounding poor Afghans to dust for twenty years went to U.S. contractors. War is a racket and the MIC lives to swing it.
- All nuclear, radiological, biological and chemical weapons of mass destruction must be eliminated throughout the entire world, immediately and permanently. Nuclear weapons must first be completely decommissioned due to their extinction event destructiveness. There is no possible winning nuclear weapons strategy and every military that has them is putting all 8 billion of us (the human species) and Planet Earth in constant threat of extinction. Every nation must at least draw down to only a few nuclear weapons for symbolic defensive purposes until complete worldwide de-escalation is achieved. The U.S. is the only country to ever use nuclear weapons, against civilians, and is currently wasting 500 billion over ten years to modernize its nuclear "stockpile." This is pure insanity, total disregard for all human life and the most senseless, massive financial waste imaginable. We must wake up before it's too late. The only reason nuking Japan didn't result in nuclear winter is because no one else had nuclear weapons at the time. Everyone that supports the continued use of nuclear weapons, even as strategic threat deterrents is incredibly naive, at best. Anyone considering nuclear conflict as viable engagement is severely deranged.Russia and the United States have 20x more nuclear warheads than anyone else and must lead China, France, the UK, Pakistan, India, Israel and North Korea to total nuclear disarmament.
- Mass incarceration is slavery
- No one should ever become wealthy as a public servant, by any means, period. The entire idea of serving is to put others before yourself for the greater good
- When hurting occurs the focus must immediately be toward helping, rehabilitation, reconciliation and redemption for all
- Anyone who wants to hurt others should first experience the hurting themselves to either gain empathy or lose credibility
- Make war mongering politicians, generals and corporate shills go through boot camp at their own expense if they want war, and put them on the front lines of any war they start
- Make cops, judges, lawyers, jailers and contractors live with prisoners for at least a month before being given any responsibility over their lives
- Make cops, judges and lawyers personally responsible for the continual well-being and progress of every person they interact with from arrest to release and rehabilitation. The goal should be to either want everyone over for dinner with your own family ASAP or to find another line of work
- The U.S. legal system could dismiss the majority of its "cases" by simply helping all parties understand each other better. Most citizens don't want their neighbors to suffer unnecessarily until prosecutors mercilessly teach us to hate one another for profit sharing and career advancement. Some basic all-inclusive role playing, group therapy and incentivized accountability would remedy most of our legal conflicts and save the holistic well-being of untold millions
- Law enforcement, military personnel and politicians must all be held criminally and civilly responsible for the suffering, loss, destruction and death they cause
- Qualified Immunity has to be overturned so ordinary citizens can hold law enforcement employees personally responsible for their actions
- Military personnel have to be held personally responsible for their actions to stop the MIC from continually steam rolling the planet with immunity
- Every politician should have an ongoing tally of people they have somehow harmed and killed and be held personally responsible for every single one
- All secret government agencies (FBI, CIA, NSA, DHS, etc.) must either be disbanded or completely overhauled to be transparent and accountable. They've been rogue criminal organizations from their inception to allow government insiders to circumvent all constitutional, democratic, lawful and moral restraint. The U.S. Constitution's doctrine of the separation of powers has been completely nullified by the U.S. Intelligence Community's primary function as an outlaw secondary American government. Citizens of America and the world will never get any closer to true democracy and freedom as long as intelligence agencies are allowed to exist as untouchable hitmen for super wealthy political elites. They've all been created over the past century and life for most people was way better off without them
- We have to declassify all documents related to human suffering at the hands of the U.S. Government and stop allowing domestic and global tyranny to be buried under "homeland security." The U.S. hasn't been attacked by another country since World War II and all the secrecy is primarily for the continuation of American lies, theft, cheating and crimes against humanity for the richest 1%
- All whistleblowers who expose government crime must be freed and protected from retribution by the U.S. Government. We need to support them socially and financially for any losses they've accrued for their time, trouble and bravery (Julian Assange, Daniel Hale, Steven Donziger, Edward Snowden, etc.)
- Redemption
- When hurting occurs there should immediately be a complete path to redemption with every effort to help the person attain it
- After enough helping is done, a person should have any record from hurting erased and get a new start
- This process of redemption and renewal should always be available no matter how many times the cycle is completed
Society breaks down into high and low conscientious individuals and little else matters. Gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, culture, religion, employment, politics, class, social status and all other subculture divisions are of far less significance than how passionately we adhere to the Golden Rule and preserve all life and the planet.
The earth's temperature has risen 1.2° Celsius since the Industrial Revolution from burning fossil fuels, deforestation and livestock farming, and is projected to rise 2-3° more by 2100. An increase of 3° will raise sea levels by up to 3 feet, displace up to 10% of global population, critically reduce global food supply and dramatically increase extreme weather occurrences. The Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists' Doomsday Clock has gone from 17 minutes to just 100 seconds from midnight (nuclear Armageddon) over the past 30 years due to climate change, escalating geopolitical hostilities, never-ending war, threats of nuclear annihilation, more virulent pandemics, cyber security and other large-scale dangers of modern technology. We're at war on earth 92% of the time, we're living and swimming in trash, have destroyed half the world's coral reefs and have increased animal extinction by 1000x the normal rate.
We've been completely brainwashed in how we see the world by lowlife greedy bastards who couldn't care less if the planet burns and most of us regular poor folks go along with it. We need to accept the unfortunate reality that most power-hungry people in the world are truly just stupid fucking animals who desperately need us to stop them from killing us all. We have to stop wasting our power (time, energy, resources, interaction, love, forgiveness) on fruitless momentary escapism, gladiator entertainment, team sports political theater, sociopathic self-enrichment, authoritarian control, mass enslavement and exploitation, etc. We must immediately, effectively and completely triage our many dire collective challenges. The only life sustaining planet, the concert of planets surrounding us and the sun are a gift. The entire 140,000-year human experiment is now solely in our hands. What really matters?
Each U.S. military bomb is worth 2-7 brand new median cost houses or 17-437 tiny homes. Half a million people are homeless in America. Of the 7,423 bombs dropped on Afghanistan in 2019, the cost of 3,000-4,000 was enough to give every homeless American a tiny house. Since 2001, 350,000 U.S. bombs have killed 50,000 civilians and displaced 40 million people. Since 1970, U.S. prison slavery has increased 500%. We keep millions in cages unnecessarily. The War on Drugs was created by Nixon to crush political opposition of blacks and leftists. The National Sex Offense Registry was cemented by knowingly false Supreme Court data of a "frightening and high" 80% recidivism rate. All studies have found re-offense below 4%. Annually, we're paying 20,000-50,000 per individual and 80 billion total for 80% rearrest. Millions of incentivized sociopaths must be disappointed for the greater good to survive.
The following is a sortable list to help emphasize what's most important in life and how totally screwed we are currently. Several items can now be clicked for additional content.
- Communication1.138+90Humanity
Free, authentic and limitless communication is the first and most important step in fixing our problems. Hearing ourselves and one another while making eye contact in a safe environment is all we need to make tons of progress on most issues.
- Education2.239+80Humanity
The more pertinent, factual, scientific and diverse information we have, the better. Knowing nothing about something is unfortunate but being misinformed is far worse. The more we learn about anything the more we realize how little we know about everything. Education is mostly a pursuit of ignorance in the face of the universe but as with most things in life, the journey is more important than the final destination. Helping each other find happiness and well-being on the only known life sustaining planet should be our primary concern, and discovering more about everything surrounding us can only help make that possible.
- Global Warming3.335-100All Life
Planet Earth is heating up because human beings are burning too much fossil fuel for energy (coal, oil, natural gas). If we don't make using less and/or alternative energy sources our main priority in the immediate future, we're all going to die, take every other living thing with us and leave Planet Earth uninhabitable.
- Eco Destruction4.434-100All Life
"Everything relies on everything else… An ecosystem is a community of plants, animals and other living organisms that share the benefits of a particular space or environment such as air, food, water and soil. It's no different from our human community where every citizen of a city relies on its own resources and interacts with its environment."
If the history of Planet Earth was scaled down to a single day, human existence would only have lasted for about 3 seconds. In that time we've increased the extinction of animals by 1000x the normal rate and have destroyed more than half the world's coral reefs. Corporations have abandoned the future of all life and the planet for their own pathological accumulation of momentary ego fodder, man-made crap and money to burn.
- Nuclear Terrorism5.532-100All Life
There is no possible winning nuclear weapons strategy and every military that has them is putting all 8 billion of us (the human species) and Planet Earth in constant threat of extinction. The only reason nuking Japan didn't result in nuclear winter is because no one else had nuclear weapons at the time. Everyone that supports the continued use of nuclear weapons, even as strategic threat deterrents is incredibly naive, at best. Anyone considering nuclear conflict as viable engagement is severely deranged. Russia and the United States have 20x more nuclear warheads than anyone else and must lead China, France, the UK, Pakistan, India, Israel and North Korea to total nuclear disarmament.
- History Revisionism6.637-100Humanity
We'll never stop making the same mistakes unless we establish an honest historical record and hold our corrupt public officials responsible for their atrocities. America was founded on genocide and slavery, mass incarceration is a literal continuation of slavery being carried out by the same heartless and detached breed of bad faith actors, and unfettered capitalism keeps the vast majority suffering to maximize stock and monetary profits for wealthy elites. Book burning, legislative corruption, voter suppression and media propaganda will forever stymy humanity's march toward healing, equality and progress until we collectively demand personal accountability for all.
- Billionaires7.710-100All Life
Billionaires would never exist in a healthy democratic society. Capitalism is one of only a few monetary systems that people consider and anyone who tries to contest the many ills of hypercapitalism is immediately attacked as a socialist or considered too naive to be serious. If everyone gave personal wealth beyond 1/4 billion to support social programs the entire world would immediately be transformed. All wars would be prevented unless the draft was reinstated because the majority of soldiers, though patriotic, join in large part for the career opportunities. Everyone would have a home and transportation, full medical coverage, free college, monthly basic universal income, all the time in the world for personal development and the freedom to pursue their dreams.
Money is power and dark money in politics comes from those who have way too much of both. I'll never understand why we celebrate billionaires while they constantly bribe our elected officials to turn legislation against us for their own selfish entitlement and greed. Taking the excess wealth and influence from the few filthy rich and redistributing it to hundreds of millions for the common good is a no brainer. A single U.S. military missile costs between 1 and 3.5 million and 7,423 were dropped on Afghanistan in 2019 alone. The entire 20 year war was totally counterproductive and while we can't go back and give all that blood money to average Americans for a better quality of life, we definitely can give them unused trillions of excess billionaire money.
There's about 3,000 billionaires spinning in darkness with us and more than 700 in the U.S. Life could be a dream for so many if the insanely fortunate decided to share the extreme excess of what they'll never need for themselves.
- Corporate Rule8.82-100All Life
Corporations turn life into whatever dumbass people want it to be for maximum profits. They'll do anything to make a buck without shame or fear of consequences because too many people are involved to adequately place blame and government's making a killing. Most major corporations benefitted directly from slavery until roughly 100 years ago (exploitation of U.S. prison slave labor continues unchecked) and today the entire U.S. legislature is undeniably Corporate America's bitch at the direct expense of jilted Americans. The Military-Industrial Complex just spent the last 20 years bombing Afghans and Iraqis back to the stone age just for inventory turnover. All we're talking about somehow is whether COVID-19 is a hoax after 6 million souls have passed, January 6 was either totally harmless or fuckin' Pearl Harbor and paltry posthumous Jeffrey Epstein guilty pleasure.
Only 5 companies control nearly everything we see and hear on U.S. mainstream media and they all need us buying everything we don't need and in constant conflict with each other. The U.S. economy is foremost propped up by war, mass surveillance and mass incarceration with predatory corporate interests strategically placed throughout the entire country to crush legislative opposition and reform. The only way to reestablish average human interests at the forefront of government and society is to stop giving into corporate fear and division tactics, stop dehumanizing and canceling each other, start holding everyone behind the corporate veil individually responsible for all of the horrible things they do to us, get all dark money and corporate lobbyists away from our elected public officials, fire everyone who even thinks about a conflict of interest and tear down the revolving door.

It's been a few weeks now since Russian television network RT was forced off the air and all its past content removed from most western media platforms, including YouTube. DirectTV and Roku dropped RT America (RT's American news channel based in Washington, DC) in response to Russia's invasion of Ukraine, forcing RT to close permanently. RT has been described by many as a conveyor of Russian propaganda but the same can and should be said about western media networks CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, the BBC, etc. RT was in fact state funded by the Russian government from 2005 in part to improve Russia's image and relations with the world, but its bias and propaganda were no worse than in U.S. media. Many prominent America journalists worked at RT America explicitly because it was the only network that allowed uncensored content creation, such as anti-Iraq War views while U.S. networks silenced anyone brave enough to voice opposition to the 20-year disaster.
I'm extremely disappointed that RT America was unjustly cancelled and hope for its return. The programming and personalities were a key part of a healthier global news ecosystem and suddenly trashing so many years of valuable journalism is, in my opinion, a war crime. The unbelievable arrogance of a few filthy rich executives to haphazardly eradicate a globally supported news media outlet when dialogue and inclusion are needed above all. Consider for a moment that RT became the first television news channel on YouTube to reach a billion views in 2013, recently had 4.65 million subscribers in English and 5.94 in Spanish, 7 million subscribers on Facebook and reached 700 million homes in 100 countries. How in the hell can a few detached corporate assholes with political agendas decide what billions of us can watch and who's worthy of presenting the news? With all due respect to everyone suffering across the globe, please stop censoring and just speak your own truth.
YouTube also blocked Indian news channel WION (World Is One News) on March 22, for identical content shown on other major news channels that were not blocked by YouTube. The ban was for 7 days but was lifted early due to public protest. YouTube has effectively become a de facto arm of the U.S. intelligence community and will remain so until it stops blanket banning content creators the U.S. Government disagrees with. Fact-checking and effective counterarguments are the pillars of legitimate discourse in a free and open society. Sweeping censorship is for weak and corrupt totalitarian regimes. With no legitimate business reason for RT's content to remain blocked by YouTube, only personal prejudice and/or political conflict of interest by YouTube executives can explain the ongoing embargo.
